The License to Use an Image
When you "buy" an image, you’re really buying a license to use the photographic image. The price of a license depends on the intended use. The purpose of the license is to protect the rights of the photographer (they work hard to get those outstanding shots!) and to protect you, our customer, from legal liability. If you buy a poster, it is for personal use only.
